If I go from a low note to a high note I tend to play the high note on the sharp side. So yes this exercise definitely helps. Also playing a low note and then playing the same note an octave higher helps also.

I still have the jody jazz DV mouthpiece in the back of my mind. It will be a long while before I make a jump to metal if I do at all. 🙂

Jak – I posted in other posts about Ernie Watts. He plays a #13 (.160 ) Florida Otto Link. He also put a wedge in it to keep the bottom from dropping too far out. He likes to blow a lot of air through his Keilwerth Sax. Amazing
