One Mint Julep Saxophone Music

Big R&B hit first from Ray Charles in 1961 and then later by the great rock and roll saxophonist King Curtis. Many other people recorded this song such as Louis Prima, The Ventures and Count Basie to name just a few. The original vocal version was released in 1952 by the doo-wop group The Clovers.

Song Key

This saxophone version is in the same key as the King Curtis and Ray Charles versions which is D major. This makes the Bb sax music chart in E major and the Eb sax music chart in B major.
