Thanks Pete, I keep having trouble with my camera on picking up the audio, it seems to ignore the backing track and only picks up the Saxophone but still working on it.

Howdy, oops meant to say microphone, drop the k, i think i can see the mic stand you are playing too, you might consider putting on a mic holder on your sax, and have
the mic above the bell. That’s how i have mine and i get some pretty good volume when playing outside.

Great job, little suggestion try playing with a mick and amplification, could hear you better. You do have a great tone/skill show it off……

Thanks James, I try to get in at least an hour a day, different backing tracks are fun to play along with.
Hopefully Johnny will put out some new ones.

I have the same issue with the solo’s you get to know the old songs pretty well by hearing them thru the years but solo’s don’t necessarily follow the tune
and are usually played ad libbed making them difficult to play

Thanks James, has been a while but finally getting some time to make one, this was a little tricky, four key changes
and in the third section there were seven flats “C flat major” tough to play.

Mark that was great never heard that song played by sax who knew!

Hello Malcolm, I bought Good golly back in July, this particular purchase does not include the full track (with johnny sax) a lot of his older songs do not come with the full track, he has been adding it to some of the old songs but this song only comes with the backing track (no sax) he might add his version (full track) some day.

Mark Glad you are back , it been a little quiet on the forum for a while now, assuming everyone is busy doing something else during the summer months, hopefully the old
gang will come back in the fall. I got a couple of songs ready to go for recording just have not had the time to record them. but they are coming soon.
