Hi Johnny just watched your video on high notes, The points you made about high notes I will put them to work on the alto, It’s just a little bit disheartening to hear the alto sound so bad and the tenor sound so good,and yes I can play the plam key D D# they sound ok just E F& F# they sound very thin and weedy.But I will persevere.

I don’t think it matters what key you are in as a wind player you have got to play in all keys. I have Johnny’s baker street music and for my money it is great. I can and do play baker street in the original key.But Johnny’s arrangement is very good for Tenor sax, this is the life of a saxophone player.

Thank you Johnny I have that now straight in my head. so Ab is the same as G# and they are from the major key of B major. Have I got that Right. Yes I was referring to a key’s relative minor, the tune hit the road jack it threw me the web said Aflat minor.and as for the breath I will have to learn breath in the right places.
