Thanks for the compliments Kevin and James, but I need a lot of work!
      Kevin:
Most of the time I switch mouthpieces back and forth between an old 5-star Otto Link metal and a Meyer hard rubber medium chamber. I played the Meyer in the video.
Reed: #3 Vandoren Java for both mouthpieces.
I have some old plastic Brilharts, one metal “Arnold Brilhart” I rarely play,
A Yamaha 4C I don’t like, And one old chewed-up British 4-star mouthpiece (was my favorite) that I finally retired.
      James:
I’m using cheap 6-inch computer-speakers. I had them right next to the camera or you wouldn’t have heard the backing tracks.

        Re: Memorizing music.
When I was playing professionally 50 years ago in the 60’s and 70’s, the whole group practiced together twice a week, and we did a new piece for most of the practice time. That was sufficient to memorize it.
Also, I don’t remember having any music written for the sax. I transposed everything from piano and guitar music. Most times I just winged it, keeping the main tune somewhat, but improvising all over the place. We never played any song the same every time! LOL!
Once your horn is “warmed up” and you are in the groove, the horn just seems to take over and play by itself, anyway.
I wouldn’t worry about “memorizing” a piece to perfection. Just play it a few times until it’s you. The beauty of sax playing is in the author not the music.

I just finished lesson 2. I still need lots of practice. It takes me a long time to get to the point where my horn is playing with a mind of its own. 50 years ago I was there in 10 or 15 minutes. Never, ever stop playing. I put my sax aside one day in the 1972, and there it sat till 2 months ago. I wonder, now, how I let that happen. I love playing. I try to do a little every day.

              Johnny,
I went to do my lesson today in Major Scale Improv Course and it said I reached my download limit? I have been just going there each time for my lesson, but I guess this is not the correct way? Not sure what to do?
              Thanks,
              Will

I apologize, John for my very rude post yesterday. I’ve been burnt a few times ordering things online, but that was no reason to insult you. I did receive your email with the link for the downloads. Please accept my apology. Is there any way I can delete that post?

I have the same problem. I just ordered 4 pieces (for the price of 3) and never received the link at the end of the transaction. I also never received the email with a link. I called your customer service number and got a recorded message from what sounds like a personal phone of some lady. You are either a fraud or you need to get your act together. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to resolve something and find out there is no real customer service.
I opened up an official complaint with ebay.
