Try this fingering for the elusive high G. It’s so simple.

      THis is the fingering:

B key (the one under the front F)+ High F# key!! Down below.
      Use the high octave key
      Try it!! It’s easy.

I use a fibracell 3, on my Otto link 6 mouth piece. I am able to use a fibracell 4 on a simple plastic mouth piece.
You can buy them on Amazon for abou $16 but the last for months.

Welcome, I’m Leo and just started to play in February at the age of 49. I’m getting a big kick out of it! As bad as it sounds I still hear the beauty.
            Glad to meet you!

I agree. I bought a Fibracell 2 and got very comfortable with it. I liked the sound. I then bought a Fibracell 3 to experiment with and its a big jump. BUT when I go back to the 2.0 I’ve got so much more control so I love the 3.0 to practice with.

If you want to try a Fibracell, about $15.00 on Amazon for my Tenor, take a half step down from 2.5 Cane to 2.0 Fibracell as they are a bit stiffer.

I honestly think that within the last two months that these lessons have paid off! i also use the videos as a tool. I get very clean sound, and growls. It’s a great instrument!

If you sing or hum into the mouthpiece as you play you will hear the growl..
