Hi Leo – is that learn a new song from memory?

I got rid of my yamaha 480 alto and replaced it with an old Selmar SA80 ii alto, the selmar offers less wind blowing resistance than the yamaha with the same setup. So i’m having to adjust my embouchure and get used to playing with a lot less lip pressure to play scales in tune with a tuner.

my new years resolutions are the same as last years – practice an hour every day on the alto and the clarinet, and make the effort to upload….

reading music is the easy bit, reading a scale with 6 flats and playing the sax while reading the scale is the hardest bit.

The only thing to do is use a VPN, that way you can change your location to the scammers location… lol

if you go into youtube, and then search for a video, you can view the video without having to sign into youtube – this is because youtube is tracking every video you watch and everything you search,related to your location even if you don’t sign into youtube – go into youtube settings and delete watched videos and delete searched videos.

TIP – i find if i set aside time to quickly run through all 12 major scales played from the sheet and not memory every day, then i have no problems playing in any scale on a music sheet.

Waste of time playing scales from memory if you always play from music sheets, you need to develop eye-reading/finger-locating memory.
