@Geoffrey, yes thats a great question…
on bar 16 you need to play the mordent at the beginning of the bar because it’s a whole note followed by an empty bar
if you waited till the end of the bar there aren’t any more notes to land on so it doesn’t work here.
if you look back at bar 11 and the half note, it’s followed by a note (B) so it makes…[Read more]
