I love this Sax solo from “It’s Still Rock and Roll To Me”. Listen how he’s only using a handful of notes and how he’s playing them vs. just playing notes from a page–exactly as Johnny has always told us. I think this song would make a fantastic Sax Instrumental.

Check out Sil Austin’s song ‘Everything Shakin’. I love his tone–big, raw, edgy sound 🙂 I’ve been reading some background info. about him–he produced over 30 albums in his Sax playing career, pretty amazing.
