mine is the Durga 3. I’ve had it for a couple years and do play it once in a while. it’s pretty nice, and depending on the reed it blows as good as some of my Guardala’s. Not good enough to replace my main MBI tho. I would like to try the newer Durga 4 but it’s almost $800!

nice project Mark I like your relaxed style and you mixed the sax pretty good in the mix with just enough echo.
as a sax fan my only complaint is there’s not enough sax throughout!

first I’ve heard of the sax seat….looks pretty good. how much are you using it William?

nice Mike…that last bit the sax was really there with some nice tone and and reverb. looks like a fun band to play with and your friends did a nice job of editing the bits for you. good to see some people getting a few gigs back!

pretty much evrything Selmer makes is good.

yup that was a fun and important band for me musically. I learned quite a bit from the Roomfull of Blues horn section.

also saw Joe Houston at a local bar here in Vancouver once. asked him about that style of laying he did in tjhe 50’s and he wasn’t too keen on talking about it as it was a long tine ago and has moved on to other things.

Legere was my first try at synthetics and I didnt like it ( made a video on it which still might be in the blog section)
Fibracells were better, by that I mean felt closer to a cane reed but it wasn’t until I tried the Fiberreeds that were good enough to leave the cane behind.

built up saliva on the reed is a very common issue and when it builds up it can get pretty noisey! not sure if that’s what you are calling a “buzzing” sound.
also, a ligature can “choke” a reed by being too tight or simply not fitting right as some cheap ones do.

well, I tried several synthetic reeds at first and didn’t like them and so kept using cane. then I found some that worked really well for me and I haven’t played a cane in several years.

Hey Steven probably not possible but if you don’t keep a list just look at the “Checkout” link on top menu then under there you’ll see “Purchase history” which has all your past song download links. but if and when you screw up just shoot me an email and I’ll change it for you.
