i just love listening to different styles of music, some i admit i don’t see what people see in it,
others i can’t get enough of it.
Music like art does go in and
out of style, one thing that really amuses me, is the younger
generation wouldn’t be seen dead
listening to their older generations music – is just not cool. Likewise the older generation can’t understand what the younger generations music is all about. Just like dad dancing & those lovely jumpers he wears!
When i was really young i used to pretend that i liked classical music, just not to hurt my parents
feelings and i did listen to it.
later on in adult life something clicked and have to admit i actually like some if it! like
being forced to eat brussel sprouts – now i like them.
When i was young & you went to a funeral people mainly requested church hymns, now a days its more
common to play the deceased persons favorite pop song in church.
I just hope i never get stuck into liking one generations style – but each unto his own- eh?
