Great job, little suggestion try playing with a mick and amplification, could hear you better. You do have a great tone/skill show it off……

Thank you! Can I ask a question as I am unfamiliar. What is a mick? 🙂

Next time we get an opportunity to play, I’ll ask the sound guy to turn it up. Thanks for the boost of confidence!

Howdy, oops meant to say microphone, drop the k, i think i can see the mic stand you are playing too, you might consider putting on a mic holder on your sax, and have
the mic above the bell. That’s how i have mine and i get some pretty good volume when playing outside.

good tone Kris…and you nailed the solo!
                    awesome.
ya you were blowing into I mic but should be louder in the mix especially for this tune, it should be up as loud as a main vocal….I find many sound guys haven’t much experience working with saxophones unfortunately.

Thanks, John! The sound guy later told me that he went to turn up the mic on the sax but decided against it for some reason ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I had a couple of squeaks pop out on me too, but I’m glad they weren’t ear piercing 😀 and didn’t mess me up. I feel my reed was maybe the cause of the squeaking. Anyhow, I practiced often by playing along with your recording until I nailed it down!
