Skype Lessons

I’ve tried playing my sax via a Skype connection but I found during the process that the recipient was not getting the full song. The sound was intermittent and the suggestion was that my computer mic was overwhelmed by the sound and resorted to cutting out. Has anyone experienced this problem and do you have a solution?
Obviously backing away from the computer would be one suggestion, but that hasn’t worked.Saxfella

Skype can be weird but I find it’s usually because of the type of connection you have, service provider etc. I’ve been doing some lessons over skype and can say 2 out of 3 are absolutely perfect and the odd one will get intermittent interference or some other weird thing but it’s what we have that’s totally free so very do-able for what I’ve been using it for.
