I’m here in my hotel Suite in Corpus Christi, Texas and was practicing chromatic scales quietly, with no mouthpiece and just working on fingering; go ahead and call me crazy LOL. Has anyone had to practice like this before? JOHNNY: I did pick up a box of Vandoren ZZ reeds for alto……..they blow away the alto reeds I was using, even though the alto needs servicing. Has a very, very bright tone! excited to say the least, so thanks a lot for that tip 🙂 Monday, though, vacation is over and it’s back to work–bummer.
