I’m working on the shotgun improv. I’m making some progress creating a blues riff with the Bb major scale and Bb pentatonic scale. I can read the music language but I’m can’t speak the music language yet
right, well the process of playin g a solo with 1 note, then 2 etc will help you to develop this.
don’t even worry about the Bb major scale, just stick to the pentatonic…seriously, those 5 notes are all you need for this right now. Just listen to Jr Walker’s solo
