JB: Very nice on both! Alto, Selmer M-6. Tenor. Selmer M-6. The best orchestration of Rout 66, Has to be Nelson Riddle’s, from the TV show. Best Vocal?? The Stones!! In all, outstanding music! Just saying!

i thought the 1st one was a selmar – looked a bit like Johnny’s sax, didn’t realise the other one was. my local music shop has 2 selmars mk 6’s in it an alto and a tenor – i can’t make up mind to buy the alto mk 6 or just buy a brand new selmar!

Get the Selmer Tenor if you can afford it!!! Is the serial number a, 5 or 6 didjet? You can look on usahorn.com they have all the numbers listed by year. At least they used to. Or, google selmer mark 6 serial numbers. You will get a site for this. If I may ask? How much? Tim

the tenor is a 1963 year, and the price is roughly $7500 – not very old fir a selmar!
