Returning to the Sax

Hi guys,

My name is Zach and I played sax in High School. I was in the Jazz Band as well as the Symphonic band. Once I left school(in 1999) I basically stopped playing the saxophone until about 2007 when I tried picking it back up. That didn’t last. Now though I believe I have the interest to practice and get better truly returned to me. So here goes.

Nice to have you here Zachary! 🙂 Hope you find Johnny’s site to be a great source of inspiration in your playing. I just started playing again about 6 weeks or so ago, wasn’t able to play for a couple of years due to an Oral Cavity disorder I had/needed medical help to fix. It feels great to be playing again. I’m in the process of rebooting my air support, embouchure, etc.. Making good strides, still have some work to do. Hope to hear more from you! 🙂
