I am pretty new to playing the tenor (to give you some idea i am pretty happy playing Fly me too the moon from this site with out many major issues, short of the improv).
When i am playing higher notes i struggle with the tone, and it becomes more apparent when i am moving between notes using the octave key and notes not. Notes not using the octave key sound sharp with a good tone. notes with sound a bit weak and not rich in tone.
Is this a problem with my embouchure? I am self taught apart from youtube and lessons from here, so my technique is probably not great, but i do not really know where to start to make it sound better.
Any help would be awesome!
