I began playing sax at age 10 and fell wildly in love with the saxophone. When I was 14 I started apprenticing in woodwind repair at a local music store. I loved that work and continued some while attending music college. Now I play, compose, teach and love that I get to make music my life. I also invented Key Leaves sax care products that leave keys open to dry so pads don’t stick. This work inspired me to do intense field research on sticky saxophone key pads and ways to extend pad life. Feel free to direct any sticky G# key or rotten Eb pad questions my way.
