I’m Pat Wilson in South Africa. Played jazz piano for a few years as a teenager, sax for about 6 months, 15 years ago, now wanting to get into it properly because I have corona time! (21 day lockdown).
My sax was owned by 1 guy previously, a professional big band musician who died in poverty of alcoholism in 2005. Its very battered, but plays nicely since being serviced. Its a 5 digit Selmer, nickel plated. I really wanted a tenor not an alto, but I love this old lady.
I think if I play “Elizabethan Serenade” once more my wife will kill me.
