I find very interesting your lessons about improvisation. I tried to play your solo by ear, but the last phrasing of second chorus, I,m confused. Could you tell me which notes are? Thanks
Yes, the second time I played the chord. The chord is made from the 1, 3, and 5 notes of the scale. So if you’re playing in C the notes are C, E, and G. There is an extra note used in the lick which is the 6, in this case would be the A note.
I may not be in the right place to even ask this as i am a newbie to this wonderful site. I recieved an email with what appears to be a link to the blues course but it brings me to this forum. I am probably just not seeing an obvious link somewhere. If someone could point me in the right direction I would sure appreciate it. for the record the email can be seen pasted below with the link address.
thanks in advance!
Another top request I get is how to improvise and
sound good playing blues and rock etc.
Here is one of the best (and easiest) scales for
doing just that!
Hi Ronnie, thanks for the heads up. there was a linking error on that page as I updated this stuff a while back.
Here is the proper link for the 1st blues improv lesson: https://howtoplaysaxophone.org/improvisation
you will see 3 lessons available there.
the links will work once there as long as you are signed in.
