he’s been busking for hundreds of years, he’s a landmark on the streets in Nottingham, so everyone recognises him. Very few people hang around watching musicians busking in Nottingham.
He is a very talented player, years ago a friend of mine who had his own band called ‘Storm Tribe’ wanted to hire him to add some sax in a recording studio, and the guy turned him down saying he could make more money in a couple of hours busking compared to the going rate of a couple of hours pay in a recording studio.
