Online Credit Card Fraud

Hi Guys,
Someone recently used my credit card number online to buy goods.

I don’t know how someone got my card number, as i haven’t used it in public in any machines or shops or handheld card readers in the past few months, the only place would be online, or a virus is on my laptop.

My laptop has antivirus software installed, so should be virus free.
My credit card company said my card number possibly may have been stolen in some recent online transactions.

I’m not going reveal when or where i used my card online recently, but i would check your statements for any card misuse.

The only other way i think they got my card number was by randomly picking numbers.

same happened to me last month. I had to cancel of course and they told me fruad is huge these days. guys are just making their own cards and applying numbers to them. if at the point of transaction no password is required they’re successful.
I rarely use mine online so it’s impossible to figure out how they did it.
