It is very cool seeing 3 different Saxophones playing the same song here 🙂 Looking at you play that Bari, I would imagine a Tenor Saxophone must feel small to you! Those Bari Saxophones look like they’re a lot of fun to play with. Did you decide to keep on with your Search of trying different Tenor Saxophones in your area? I know you had mentioned you tried playing a Selmer?

Great ears Johnny. Looking back I was coming down the scale after the fall off in the beginning and noticed I should be playing a C# into a C to end the phrase whereas I was playing a D into a C. Thanks so much!
Yea Michael, the tenor does feel a little small after blowing into this bari. I am getting a pinky workout. I was asked to play an oldies tune that needs the low C#. I swear every other phrase uses the low c#. The pinky plate setup is different on this sax than my others. The C#, B and Bb are on rollers in a straight line. A little bit of an adjustment for me. This seems a little more common on some older saxes. Anyways, the c# I push my pinky with is connected to a rod about a foot long and it takes effort for my pinky to lift the rod to open the tone hole. LOL. So I am fighting that along with the diaphram support and breath to fill the sax. good practice I guess. After playing the bari, the other saxes just don’t have the fullness and depth to my ears. The bari is def a FUN sax to play with!
