Hi Mel, thanks for posting the recent videos. I bought the Purple Rain album years ago and this song is my favourite from Prince.

I wonder how one goes about putting the emotion into sax playing? This would make an interesting topic for Johnny to cover.

Isn’t it wonderful how many really good sax players there are? I’ve order four of Ben’s CDs after hearing these U-tube tracks, sadly ‘Solitude’ is not on any of them. Perhaps Johnny will work out a version for us? I was able to source 10 of Sonny Rollins CD’s for the price of one newly released CD. Check the online stores for these ‘Masters of Sax’ as there are some real bargains out there.
