Just wanted to introduce myself. I am 62 years young, and living in Kitchener Ontario. I play in a couple of community bands and would like to expanded my experience. I have played music since I was in grade school (on and off). Started with guitar (thanks to the Beatles for that), then in high school I played trumpet. Been more about playing and reading music than understanding the theory and improvising. I am now of course playing tenor and alto saxophone, with an eye on either a bari or soporano saxophone. Would love to play with other local musicians who like the horn sections of Tower of Power, Chicago or Blood Sweat and Tears, that would be a dream come true.
