Johnny I am so glad that I ran into your site. I am a 59 year old guy who played sax in high school then in some Chicago type bands that really read charts a lot. I gave it up for 28 years and two years ago put it back in my mouth. I love the horn and I also double on Hammond and piano I am now workint in several cover bands.
But ya know what some of the lessons I learned were just All wrong. I am now looking for "that tone"
and after watching the lesson on embochure I am rolling my lower lip well over my lower teeth and I just pinch everything off. I have never been a great solo guy but learn the cover stuff well. I want to thank you for your site and ya know what I am going back to basics with your lessons and going to set things straight.
