How about a new forum called “Song of the Month”.
At the start of each month, a new song is selected (could be a play-along to a ballad, a blues song, a rock & roll song , or do your own Improvisation to etc..) then in the 1st post, three things are supplied by you or an elected member of your site.
1) a non copy right backing track
2) a Bb Pdf music sheet (with chords – if its for an improvisation)
3) a Eb Pdf music sheet (with chords – if its for an improvisation)
the rules are anyone is allowed to download all 3 items, and do their recording & upload of that song and no other song.
There is also another suggested forum
called “JF’s Backing Track Tribute”
the rules – only for uploads by anyone having a go at the songs they bought from your website.
Well there you have it. My wife and have both recently taken up a new hobby – “Water colour painting” – so you can guess it, i’m finding less and less time to spend on the internet.
