Metalite Mouthpiece

Has anyone used a Rico Metalite Alto mouthpiece ?
I play tenor ( with an Otto Link m/p) but recently bought a second hand alto but I dont like the Yamaha 4c mouthpiece that came with it. I was looking to get a different m/p but dont want to spend too much in case I dont keep the alto.
I wondered if the Rico Metalite was a good m/p as they seem really low priced for a mouthpiece.

Never tried that mp. I do have a Rico Graftonite mp for my bari sax and it sounds and plays pretty good. I can’t really attest to other saxes though. The bari has a distinct sound that cuts through anything. This mp works well with the bari sax for sure.

I used to play one of those Rico’s on bari and loved it, but I don’t know about it for alto. I remember it had a very bright tone so it worked good for what I wanted out of the bari.
