Another fun tune to play along with, lots of room for doing “different things”. I tried to progress through the three passages from playing it pretty straight to being a little out there.

          Thanks Pete,

I redid the song using my hard rubber mouthpiece, much mellower (which was kind of what I was wanting). The link above is no longer working, anyone wanting to give a listen please use this new link.

Hi Pete, I was using a 10M Fan Black Widow hard rubber mouthpiece and a Copper Carbon fibereed on this tune. It’s a bit mellower than my metal mouthpiece I usually use.

Pete, I should have picked up a merlot, they play smoother than the black widow. I’ve tried a number of ligs, like you finding a good fitting life for these large pieces is a challenge. But, I’ve been using a Saxworks Clarity ligature. It can literally be used with any size mouthpiece. Go check them out.

Mike. will check the Saxworks, i have 2 Mark jean ligs= the Artistry model and the earlier one size 700 both very poor fitting on hard rubber m/p.They move out of position to easily you have to really tighten them, which is defeating the reed from vibrating correctly IMO.
