I don’t know exactly what it is about this song by King Curtis, but I think it’s one of the coolest songs in the world 🙂 Check out their bass guitar player how smooth he is…seems like he knows he smooth too 🙂 Great stuff.
ya very cool concept for a tune. he also does a great version at “Live at the Filmore West” which goes much longer as he introduces more instruments like Billy Preston on hammond, percusionist and the Memphis horns.
This is a good tune to play live which I have done in my band for years.
