      Today I uploaded the “What Does It Take” backing track loops into my garage band so I can record my attempts of improvisation and I didn’t sound too bad.

          Simple question about modes. “At the Hop” in the key of A major. First chord is A so the mode notes are A B C# D E F# G# A; 2nd chord is D7. D7 has a natural C. Do I play the D7 mode scale with a natural C or do I follow the A key signature with a C#
