June 3, 2015 at 2:24 am #20953Anonymousi only record the sax sound – so what i do is
1> convert the recorded music to a “.WMA” file using
Nero Wave Editor (or any other music editor)
2> Find an old Photo “.JPG” (edit it in Paint to tart it up etc..)Then i open “Windows Movie Maker”
and do the following
1> import the music file “.WMA”
2> import the picture file “.JPG”
3> drag them both to the bottom of the screen
4> slide the photo to the length of the music (otherwise the screen will go black,
or add more photos if you want)
5. Save to computer as a “.WMV” fileThen i go into Youtube, upload the movie file “.WMV”
after it has uploaded to youtube, i copy & paste the
address of the youtube file to Johnny’s website!hope this helps
June 3, 2015 at 5:03 am #20955Thanks JB. I have a mac computer so I’ll use iMovie. I was trying to avoid the movie making and posting on youtube. My mac is so new the movie making workings are all upgraded to the 21st century and I’m still in the dinosaur age as I was told by the apple care people. It’s good to have people. With apple care this will be a relearning of iMovie. Ain’t we got fun.
WilliamJune 3, 2015 at 10:24 am #20961Yes, it is ultimately easier to make a video these days and upload that to youtube then it is very easy to just insert the URL here and “presto”
having said that, I have my tech guy working out a way to make it happen with an mp3 so I’ll let you know if he comes through.June 3, 2015 at 1:59 pm #20974I made a video to test out my iMovie movie making tools and finally made a sample with my dogs and sailing and me on tenor. I recorded the song 5 years ago. I have a new one and I’ll get to work on a new video.
WilliamJune 5, 2015 at 11:39 am #21041June 5, 2015 at 12:14 pm #21042I love the buzz you are getting. What is your setup?? I have been working to get that kind of deep buzz going. Nice tone you got going there. If I can make any suggestions it would be to try and be a little more fluid with your notes, I heard them to be a little square, make them flow into one another and it would sound really cool. Great to see an upload from you. Can’t wait to hear more from you, great sound, I’m a little jealous of that buzz for sure!!
June 5, 2015 at 1:13 pm #21043Thanks Jake. I used a Theo Wanne Gaia Metal mouthpiece 7*, java 2.5 reed, and recorded on my Mac’s garage band. sax is a Selmer Paris super action 80 series II. I used a Rolling Stone backing track. Thanks again for your comments
