Finally got around to finishing my Honkers and Bar Walkers CD collection…I’ve been pouring over these CDs…GOOD stuff 🙂 King Curtis has got a song on Volume 2 called “Dynamite at Midnite” Every time I hear a song of his, you can hear that huge tone of his projecting through his playing 🙂
@ Johnny: Have you thought about posting links here on your site to buy your CDs? Those are next on my list, I don’t have any of your CDs yet..shame on me.

CDBaby.com is my online distributer. If someone’s interested fine but I don’t like to use this website to promote my cd’s, I would feel kinda cheezy to do that.

Oh, okay–cool 🙂 I was just thinking how some folks may want your CDs and maybe weren’t aware of where to get them, how to get them, etc.. In listening to my collection of the Big Horn and now the Honkers/Bar Walkers collection, seems like you were heavily influenced by these guys? I hear a lot of what they do in you own playing. I share new stuff you release on my home page on facebook and have gotten great feedback on your stuff. I don’t use facebook for social purposes like lots of people do, don’t have time for it. I’m on there mainly to network/meet other music playing folks, it can be a great tool to meet other musicians in your area.
