Hi everyone!
I live on the little island of Malta, right in the heart of the mediteranean sea! The island is only 14km across on the skinny side, and 28km long on the "long" side – so yes small!
I've been playing sax for a few years, and have a Selmer Mk VI, otto link 8*, and usually use 2 1/2 inch reed. Im self taught and it was great to see where Johnny showed all the mistakes beginners make – because I made a few :-S (Like using throat for volume)
Anyway – Johnny I would love to see lots of stuff on impro, and any tips on altissimo would be great too! Together with this – if you have a section on improvising on standards, and some tips on how to impro with just a form sheet. Things like that would be great.
Please come and visit our tiny island one day – you would love the place for some peace and quiet and enjoy some island life!
Also keep up the great work, you're an inspiration to us all, and I speak on everyone's behalf – we want to be like you!
Ciao!
David
