Just starting this wonderful journey of sax playing along with my son. Though I’m an old fart with regards to music (45), I hope to enjoy this till the end…. Renting a Selmer student model until the beginning of school again in August…Been playing drums and percussion for a few years and there is nothing like making, playing and enjoying music to keep your soul and outlook young!!!

Congrats on you new journey, especially with you son, that’s very cool.
Selmers are among the best, even the student models so good choice there.
Next make sure you’ve got a good mouthpiece to go along with it. There are a few articles and videos on that topic here that will explain a bit regarding this and the importance of it.
