Hi There,

My name is Bev, I was a professional singer for 20 years before I had a change of career in 2009. I still sing a little and play keyboards for fun but have always wanted to play the saxophone. My partner has just bought me an Arbiter Pro Sound alto sax as a late Christmas present and I absolutely love it. I’m hoping my breathing techniques I use as a singer will stand me good stead with my sax playing.

I’m looking forward to being in touch with fellow players and can’t wait to start my journey 😀

Yes Bev, you will have a very good advantage because proper saxophone breathing is the same as what singers do which is from the diaphragm.
