      Hi Guys, thanks for the positive comments.

      Thanks Johnny, I’m certainly feeling more comfortable with the instrument. Your advice on long tones and practice was perfect for improving tone.
      Now that my tone is getting there, timing will be my main area of focus. I’ll be working my metronome overtime. Cheers

        It’s a good song to work on. Johnny is right on! I am just starting to incorporate the metronome in all I do. You can tell on scales right away when you use one. Instead of just blasting thru them there is a more definite structure. 🙂

              Fats had a great sounding sax player, loved is sound and it was the reason I took up “trying” to play the sax.
              Herb Hardesty was the man.
