It’s a good song to work on. Johnny is right on! I am just starting to incorporate the metronome in all I do. You can tell on scales right away when you use one. Instead of just blasting thru them there is a more definite structure. 🙂

Fats had a great sounding sax player, loved is sound and it was the reason I took up “trying” to play the sax.
Herb Hardesty was the man.

Yes Mel, his sax players were all brilliant players and his songs and piano playing were
the best. I have most of them.
