Try more articulation, you find on some of Johnnys music it is
not the same as he sounds on the demo, he is a pro and he is putting
is own “slant on it I think, what I do I play a few bars and try to
copy the way Johnny plays them, and then move on to the next few bars
and add my own feel to it, just keep practicing on these playalongs
and it will slowly come to you.

yes, exactly right smicker…
Simon, post it and we should be able to say something more definate but beleive me, I don’t do that many different things as far as ornamentation. most of the extra ornaments I do that I don’t include in the notation is just trills, mordents, and grace notes maybe.
some others are just fall-offs and run-ups (fast)
also, it’s amazing what just jumping the octave once in a while can do to lift the music.
no, I don’t add all this stuff in the notation because it cloughs it up and makes it harder to read.

Hello Everybody,

I just bought the backing track for this song that I must practice for this Friday (it’s my wedding 🙂 ). I thought the music sheet was coming in the package. Since I’m a beginner, it would help me a lot to have notes and not have to learn it by ear.

Any idea where I can find a beautiful version like the one played by Johnny?

Same question for Stand by me. I like his version.
