Thanks Simon, yes it’s a sax deflector made by Jazzlabs. I tried one out at the NAMM show, it does a good job of letting you hear your sax. This was the first time I tried it in a live performance, worked fine until the 2nd set when the volume knobs on all the electric instruments magically went up… I ended up taking it off and having the sound guy pump up the monitor volume in front of me so I could hear. So, I wouldn’t recommend it if you play in a loud band, but for band where the sax doesn’t need to be mic’d it works pretty well, also works great at practices!
