Hello everyone, Dave here from Canada. I was jamming with my son on the sax in the key of e . We were playing ain’t no sunshine
when she’s gone. what key would he have to be in on the guitar. I thought it would be C Do the rules change when playing blues
and transposing? please advise. Bought my sax last Jan.

If you’re playing E on your alto he would play in C# on his guitar.
