Aint no Sunshine

Johnny,

Please could you transcribe part of Aint no Sunshine where there is a run up to an altissimo note right after the bridge? I can follow the rest of it, I just can’t work this bit out.

Are there any good lessons for practicing fast runs?

For improving your speed, you can take a scale and a chord arpeggio, starting slow and building up speed. Where many can go wrong is to cheat and keep getting faster while still making mistakes along the way. A metronome can help with this by keeping you honest and I did a metronome lesson on this which you can find in the “technique” section of the lessons.

Also include chromatic scales for this!
