Dock Of The Bay Saxophone Music & Backing Track
(Sittin’ On) The Dock Of The Bay came out in 1968. It was a collaboration between Ottis Redding and Guitarist Steve Cropper.
It became a huge hit but sadly Redding died in a plane crash before it’s release.
Song Key
Redding’s original recording was in the key of G major. This saxophone version was transposed down to Eb, putting the Bb saxophones in F major and the Eb sax chart in C major.
