Hey Johnny, just wondered if saw the last couple of videos I posted on the 3rd blog. Was looking for some feedback about a couple of things I am hearing. I feel as though my LOW notes sound nice and full and am happy with my tones thus far. When I get to the high D my notes sound as if they are not as full and start to get weak. In the song “Have you ever seen the rain”, look at 2:10 and I notice a difference in my tone. In “Santa Baby”, around 1:52 I start going into the higher register and in particularly 2:00 and 2:10 notes are pretty weak. I’m not sure if its a lack of air or possible the sax that is making this happen. I feel as though I am blowing the heck into the sax with the same resulting thin upper notes. There are spots where I know it is an air supply problem but is this the case in all of the spots?
I am working on Sleepwalk and the low register sounds pretty good, but when I jump to the high D, the quality is greatly decreased! Any suggestions?? Thanks! I am referring to my tenor.January 4, 2014 at 9:09 am #11472No Jake, this last month has been a busy one for me, taking me out of town a bit etc, and I have not been checking evrything out here on the site as I normally do, but I will catch up very soon.

RichardJanuary 6, 2014 at 10:16 am #11492I think you are talking about the “altissimo” range; the notes above high F#.
This is completly different.
I am thinking about creating a video course for playing the altissimo range and will keep you posted on this.January 6, 2014 at 11:33 pm #11502Hello Jonny,
