Welcome! I’m still a beginner. I have a blue-collar job that keeps body and soul together and hopefully makes ends meet until I meet the end. For me, it’s not about the destination; it’s about the journey. In plain english, while I hope to get up and do some sax playing on stage at some point, I get a lot of personal satisfaction from playing my alto and tenor horns at home. And knowing that I’m becoming a better player. Plus, the members’ posts of themselves playing is definitely the high point of this site. I’m at home on my my two week on, one week off schedule right now. I’m working with an apprentice from Zimbabwe up in northern Alberta. He was working outside today in -22 Celsius weather. Don’t you wish you were here? Brrrrr! Anyway, welcome to HTPS!
