      A beginner, age 67 from Norfolk, UK
      Bought a second hand Odyssey Debut Alto Sax October 2013
      Bought JF’s ‘How to play’ November 2013
      I am going to learn to read music at the same time as learning to play the sax.

      I was looking at sax lessons on youtube. I liked JF’s playing style, I like his lesson style and then I saw thids forum which seems to cater well for beginners. So here I am.

        Alright, thanks and welcome. It’s a smart idea to learn to read as you learn to play, that’s why the reading and theory lessons are there in the book alongside the exercises.
