Hi Guys
Introducing myself……Been playing over 25years, mostly self taugh, have travelled with my sax (always) Busking in Australia, Japan USA UK, and Europe.
This don’t mean I’m good just that I love to play on the streets, it’s a great way to get the vibe and meet people, boy do I have some stories to tell!
I have two saxes shoehorned into an old Alto Case, where I added a bit of PVC pipe to the top and fitted a straight Soprano over the top. My saxes are, my beloved Naked Lady Conn 1935, and a Blessings straight Soprano, (probably around 60’s or 70’s) purchased real cheap off an auction site.
I also do a bit of clowning and jugglling and can also ride a unicycle while playing sax, though it’s a bit tricky….but heaps of fun.
Always looking to improve my playing, mostly I play unaccompanied.
Johnny …I like your style and manner, best of luck with your new venture.
Cheers & Ciao

Wow, I’d be scared stiff to fall of the unicycle and land on my horn!
Great stuff Jimu..keep a rockin and a rollin!
Welcome.
Hi Johnny & Telecaster,
Re unicycling actually the added weight of the Alto sort of stabilizes the ride, so it’s easier to ride, but then you got to find some extra wind to blow and ride and the same time!
Good job I don’t have a Tenor or Bari!
Cheers & Ciao

Ps I did fall off riding down the Royal mile in Edinburgh in 2010 when a pedal came of the Unicycle…actually bicycles are more dangerous…but that’s another story!
Sorry for the double ups…don’t now how to delete em!
Ciao
Jimu
