      Hi Johnny just signed up would be great if you can point me in the right direction looking to learn how to ply blues on sax,I have a Cannonball big bell series black in colour, also I have a silver soprano which my wife bought me for our silver wedding anniversary curved Trevor James, also have alto yani 901 , & I have the new polycarbonate alto, late bloomer playing over 2 years but find it hard to get time due to wrk & family can you help I love blue as opposed to jazz Thanks Lou

        Hi Lou, teaching sax blues is one of the reasons I set this site up. You need to start with the most versatile and easiest scales called the pentatonic. The lessons are here https://howtoplaysaxophone.org/improvisation
