      Hi guys,

I couldn’t help but think how beautiful of an Instrumental this famous song by Marty Robbins from 1959 would be for the Saxophone “El Paso” I think it would be fantastic on the Tenor Sax. What do you think?

          Hi Michael,
El Paso would be great on tenor sax. Might be too long of a song. Today I worked on ” the Tiger Rag” Every backing track is very very fast. Too fast. But I’ll catch up with the Dixieland bunch some day. I’m sort of rewriting “Shake Rattle and Roll” to my own liking. Every day with Crescendo I rewrite a few riffs. I’m also working on some Bob Seger songs.

Great stuff William, will be cool to see you play some of it. Jeff e-mailed me some Saxophone sheet music for the song above, the notes are pretty simple to play; very straight forward stuff. Here’s a great one below by Elvis I think would sound fabulous on the Tenor Sax, I put it on my to-do list.
